So, I'm not sure how many people are aware of this, but you can sell Vintage items now, and some other things.
So far I've made $21.64 by selling TF2 items (and some DotA2 crates). Who else has been making mad cash?

Crates sell for $0.02 ($0.01 for you because of fees). If you have a bunch it's nice to get the free money. My question is, how are people paying for this? I almost feel like I'm robbing them.
pay pal i assume or whatever info is linked via your steam wallet
People buying keys on the C. Market are so dumb. Paying 30 cents less for keys. Might as well just buy from the Store.

So saving money is dumb??

Yeah, but it's not like $.30 really matters.
$21.64 isn't really that much, people buy unusual hats all the time for tons.
well this is something steam controls so they decide what you can actually sell on that website (for the moment), if people actually sold unusuals, the tf2 economy dies

"If I take route A, it'll take 20 minutes. If I take route B it'll take 30 minutes. Might as well take route B because it's not like 10 minutes really matters."

say you buy 30 keys
30 cents times 30 = $9 saved
if you don't want that $9 you can give it to me yo
Btw, can you take your steam wallet money and deposit it into a bank account?

no, there's no way to get money out of the steam wallet
I made like a dollar for selling my genuine menpo. My festive sandvich is still waiting to be sold :c
Do people actually buy crates? I usually just delete all of mine...

No, people buying keys on the market are dumb because you can get them for less than $1.30 on SourceOP.

yeah they do. when the Nice/Naughty crates were coming out I got mine sold for like ~$.60 and the demand for the Salvaged crates are still high I think.
it was some guy's lucky day, i accidentally sold a key for 2 cents.

It let me trade like 10 items out of the 200-300 in my backpack...
if you're quick and lucky after the dota patches with new crates they go for $10+ for a couple hours
I've made four digit numbers of money back in my SourceOP days. I sold a flaming Tossle Cap for $450 back in the day. Not only was that the most boring time I had in TF2, but when I divide the amount I made by the hours it took me, I think I make more money at my current near minimum wage job.
This steam market thing seems relatively easy though.
I sold an energy kabuto for a few hundred a while back. It's pretty cool, if you can get there just by trading and shit and then end up with a few hundred dollars. If you don't enjoy trading then yeah it is definitely not worth the time, but I personally find it kind of fun, so to me it feels like free money.
inb4 "u tradr faget" I donated half the sale to mix^ lan fund.
