Hiya, recently I've been working on a new ultiduo map called "ultiduo_rockhopper". The map is in a2, and is mostly textured, fully functional, and all the assets are packed (hopefully). Here's a screenshot of the playing area:

The gimmick in this map is the surfing walls on both sides. I'm hoping this can create some pretty cool stuff, and if it doesn't, it shouldn't get in the way of gameplay at all.
I'm looking for feedback and improvements I can make to the map, so fire away!

unskilledi like the wide nipple and the 4 platforms, looks like it'd make it a lot less 'guy who gets the airshot wins'

for some reason people actually think baloo is a good ultiduo map but it's basically who hits the airshot or who's med hits more xbows
tbh this looks like a shittier version of baloo, no idea why there are 4 random floating platforms and the surfing thing is cool I guess but if you're going in that direction you may as well do what a lot of jump maps do and make a tiny ledge at the end that edge bugs you so as to avoid fall damage (you could probably ask benroads or someone who actually knows shit about mapping for specifics), otherwise I see no point in trying to surf cause it makes you a super easy target to splash and doesn't slow you down enough to negate a significant amount of fall damage to be worth it

Initial impression: Looks neat, but basically a variant of baloo. Not sure if the jurf things are useful, haven't played it enough. The large nipple is pretty frustrating from a medic's pov as you can't get up there so it's super easy to get out of beam. The little side ramps on the nipple seem to have some neat implications but med is still frustrating. You can cap and block from the low ground but it's super inconsistent (only some spots work as you circle around while touching the nipple). It needs to be expanded slightly.

We gave up playing pretty quick though when we realized the base respawn time is something like 10 seconds. Why are all the new ultiduo maps like this? Are you guys just copying the default parameters for a koth map? Please make the spawns as short as possible, like instant basicallym esp. if you don't own the point. (http://www.teamfortress.tv/post/637937/planning-ultiduo-map).

What do you think I need to do besides shortening the respawn time and expanding the capture area? I could give medic access to the nipple or something.
Lastly, how do I unbaloo-ify this map enough for people to not mind it?
