Howdy

TF2 Dingalings went down so I made a website to replace it. Not that gamebanana doesn't already cover everything, but y'know.

I made it in around 3 days, so it's extremely simple, but it does the job. It's nothing but uploading/downloading hitsounds/killsounds. I'll add a search function properly later on, but right now, this is what I've got going.

I use HTML5 to preview audio, which explains why it's much better. Dingalings used Flash (I believe).

Will consider making this change when I implement the search function. Wasn't sure if I wanted descriptions but this seems fairly useful.

There is no way to view any hitsound that isn't in top 20 latest.

The downloads counter goes up every time you preview a hitsound. (though I guess technically its right)

As a later feature, maybe categories of hitsounds/killsounds would be nice, like funny versus serious, as well as hitsounds and killsounds having seperate sections.

Uploaded a bunch of hitsounds, but one of them turned to be a duplicate already (a quake killbeep). Can't remove it myself.
Also it seems you can only see a set ammount of recently uploaded hitsounds, not all of them.

Nice, please keep it decent and don't allow "POOTIS" hitsounds and the like, I'm sure that's what puts people off using gmaebanana in the first place.

Going to add a tag system in the future so they can be separated by filters, but the hitsounds you're talking about seem to have made way onto the site already, and with the amount of them already, I can't be bothered trying to sort through them all.

I think the "views" is only for the permalink. You can download the hitsound from the mainpage without actually "viewing" it. Or maybe "views" is "plays", not sure, but downloads > views makes sense if views is direct permalink viewing.
