You can, parachute's on +jump and charge is on secondary fire.

It is funny that the scout has 7/22 items banned and is the most powerful class in 6's.

Pyro has one item banned and will still never be run.

About the mangler, it should be banned because of unlimited ammo, which actually buffs the demo, cause now he can take all the ammo packs. It is also easily spammable for this reason and isnt fun. About m2, once you fire m2 and you miss you are dead. Especially cause most players run gunboats. Scouts will hop all over you once you are out. And it isnt easy to actually hit peopld who can dodge very well with m2.

About rescue ranger, I played a few games against teams with it and it really isnt to much better, but it slows down the game a fuckton. Because now you can hide your sentry in stupid places and tank it safely from your spawn, you can also just pull it out and rebuilt it somewhere else if it is being spammed down.

also running it on viaduct is kind of a no brainer, one of the biggest reasons it got banned initially

it was because of double engi gpit strats. engi is now limited to 1. gslinger will be ok.

Is it really a bad thing if Demo gets buffed though? Also you don't right click with the cow mangler in a position where you are going to die when doing it. Do it from a choke with your team by you, you're not going to jump into the enemy team and charge a shot there.

Is it really a bad thing if Demo gets buffed though? Also you don't right click with the cow mangler in a position where you are going to die when doing it. Do it from a choke with your team by you, you're not going to jump into the enemy team and charge a shot there.

They already lowered it, it's more the fact that you can pick up buildings and walk inside spawn with them which you werent able to do before. Also sentries heal themselves if they get damaged while redeploying. HF pushing into damage sponge natasha heavy + damage sponge rescue ranger sentry :)

the base jumper is banned cuz of the stupid abuse case of jerking off at the top of the skybox

sure, stronger engies and easier spam is lame but you at least still play against them like normal players.

The biggest reason why I think the parachute needed to be banned was because you could spam it and make your flight path nearly impossible to predict if you're a soldier/demoman. And the argument of "well there are scouts" goes back to a problem that we've had for a while now: scouts don't need to be the class that counters everything because frankly, he hasn't gotten a nerf in ages. It's a bad argument on paper yes but scout doesn't need to become any more powerful than he actually is.

I like the idea of that. Also wasn't the initial release of the base jumper supposed to include a "lack of mobility" as a downside to it? I get that you're giving up the damage reduction from gunboats but you're basically getting heightened air mobility with how it is currently

aci mean if ur teamates are calling their dmg why the fuck would u need ur med to call who s weak and who s not using the vow ? i m probably wrong but i think most medics would stick to the ubersaw anyways.

Player1: Roamer took 60, Player 2: Roamer took 100

and

Medic: Focus roamer he's low

mentally in example A you have to realize the soldier is low in example B you just follow an order. This is really oversimplified as well as I doubt most people could follow the damage on all 6 classes from all of their teammates during for example a midfight.

Not to mention you don't know if anyone took fall damage, how much of a buff they had before they took damage, etc.

If anything allowing the solemn vow would decrease the skill gap between -some- teams. Reasoning: teams will be more aware of each others health on both sides, and will know that fairly quickly without the need for as many comms or as good of gamesense (which is typically the biggest difference among high level players). Which may or may not be a good thing.

iirc aside from being an unnecessary fraterate sink, it makes deaths more noticable which can matter with things like spy's YER.

Its really minor but why nerf spy with a cosmetic
