so my deathadder is pooping out on me and was looking to try something new.
basically i want a mouse similar to the deathadder; large, semi large mouse buttons, right hand ergonomic etc.
i palm grip my mouse
some things i've heard but not sure if worth buying is rival 300, zowie za11
some clarification or a link to a guide would be great

zowie EC1-A is about the same shape as the deathadder

zowie ec1-a is very similar. But with the release of the logitech g403 I have to recommend it. Similar shape, great buttons, wireless version if you are into that and the best sensor on the market.

War reviewed the gigabyte XM300 some time back and it seems to share quite a few similarities to the deathadder, so thats also something you may want to check out.

I used to use a deathadder. Go for a logitech G500s. Enjoy the size and feel of the mouse.

I had a Deathadder for almost 2 years, macro keys and scroll wheel began not working. I heard good things about Zowie, and that the EC1-a was a good mouse to transition to from the Deathadder. I made the switch and it has been probably the single best peripheral change other than my upgrade to a 144hz monitor. Anyway, good luck on your search and I hope you find something that works for you!

I like the za11 for the most part but the scroll wheel is really terrible, not sure if the other zowie mice are the same though

No, don't. It has massive QC issues and has 1/3rd the build quality of the EC1-A or the G403 (my two recommendations btw.)

describe pooping out. I've had the same Death Adder for almost 7 years and with a few pretty simple repairs it's still in perfect working order :D

Yeah FM have fucked themselves with the constant delays on rereleasing the tournament pro and the scream one.
The gigabyte xm300 is pretty good DA shaped with a respectable price. Doesn't seem to be many QC issues either.
