If you could go back in time and erase one event from history (barring time travel fuckups and changing the future) what would you erase
Pouring so many hours into tf2 and instead focusing those hours on getting up my grades
I went back in time and erased me making this post
tf2 related: stop myself from getting into bad habits like flicking after i take a shot.
life related: get my parents to have some trust in me so that i can actually play vidya games.

one thing i would do is find some way to make sure metallica's bus didnt flip in 1986 so Cliff Burton lived
I would make sure to get into the invite circlejerks early
PankeymanI would like to save either Philip Anselmo or JFK from their untimely demises. It's tough for me to decide because these men have done such good for the world.
Phil Anselmo died? What was his untimely demise?

Installing TF2. Maybe I'd get a life in some way.

Also on topic of saving JFK by time travelling, there's a pretty good book by King named 11/22/63.

Don't see how you can save JFK without changing the future. Just having that restriction alone means you can't change any major event from the past.
I would go back to right before I got my first/second crush and tell myself not to be so fucking clingy and catch feelings so quick...
Convince Valve to invest money in competitive TF2.
i would go back in time and invest in microsoft and bitcoins
probably would go and start mining bitcoins back when it was first a thing.
PankeymanSpaceCadetDarn, I meant Dimebag Darrel. I'm very ashamed for screwing that up.PankeymanI would like to save either Philip Anselmo or JFK from their untimely demises. It's tough for me to decide because these men have done such good for the world.

It's ok, Phil has a lot of things in his past that could have went another direction anyways :)
Still love him to death

TF2 related: Use a CRT during S8/9/10/11, instead of the shitty monitor I had.
Personal: Not procrastinate my eagle project
Historical: Without changing anything? Take a camera back in time and get a picture of Charles II of Spain

IDK you might learn something. Have you ever seen a 10th century coronation of a King? Have you ever heard Latin from native speakers? There's plenty of things you could go back in time and experience or learn about without really effecting the past except you would probably carry extremely deadly diseases back in time.
-edit-
after rereading the OP I think I've completely misunderstood what he was asking to begin with. Do you mean erasing 1 event and nothing about today would change, which would be pointless as screwball pointed out, or do you mean erasing 1 event from history that would change nothing or nearly nothing about today?
