waiting on that pc release. the shitty Kingsglaive movie was added to Steam a couple weeks ago so its definitely coming. probably going to be 6-8 months though.

Gameplay in XV is very fun in all aspects, the open world stuff is great. There is a couple of bugged quests and the camera is an exercise in frustration in some of the dungeons that have confined areas.
The story starts out very slow, not much at all happens in the first like 5-10 hours of the game. I think a lot of the worldbuilding and setup of the story is done through Kingsglaive which is a shame because it is terrible, I wish they just included more background to the beginning of the game. It gets better as the game goes on though and it becomes more linear in the later chapters.
Overall it's pretty good but I wish it was longer in terms of the main story. There's a lot to do in the open world stuff obviously but the main quest/story is really short.

im playing it on vita. There is a loading screen all the time and the game chugs sometimes, but id imagine both of those problems are fixed on ps4. ITs a lot of fun if you have a lot of exp with the previous FFs. My big complaint is that the english dub is awful, Tama's speech quirk makes me want to stab my ears out. Also the running gags are bad. Did you know that the guy MC is the stupid one? because theyre going to tell you constantly. And the japanese voice over is better but its locked behind a day 1 release restriction.
All that being said, the gameplay is awesome. Battles are fun and and flow well, and developing your monsters and seeing them leveling up is really satisfying. Its a lot like pokemon, but each monster has a FFX sphere grid. Plus, the champions from previous games are really badass, The Warrior of Light from FF1 being the best example.
I wouldnt say its worth getting a ps4 for it alone but if you have other games you want i would say go for it.
