Politics in the states is a total joke, its not just yours.

for those that dont feel like reading, the republican governor of north carolina lost the election, and the republican majority of lawmakers are in a flurry passing pieces of legislation to completely remove the power that the incoming democrat governor will have in an attempt to keep as much republican control of the state as they can. this is the same state government that passes strictly unconstitutional voting restrictions to prevent black people from voting though, so i cant say its surprising!

the most morally outrageous part of this to me is that they convened this special session ostensibly to provide disaster relief for hurricane relief, and then they pass this shit. fuck the gop

This is the problem with the the government caring more about party lines than what's best for the people's liberty.

I generally side with the GOP over the Dems and I find this egregious. And people should.
