ep 3 incase someone forgot to watch or couldnt
ep 3 incase someone forgot to watch or couldnt
finally got to watch episode 3
i guess the whole last scene with the unique daughter's dialouge with jack may setup an alliance storyline but we'll have to wait and see
also the tie in with the wolf was really well done
holy FUCK the forest fight scene was intense, i really like how the had jack recite the speech his father made as he was a child, really affirmed the fact that he's moved past the death of the first daughter and realizes that his destiny is to destroy aku at all costs

ep4 is so dang good. i cant remember the last time i saw a cartoon that existed as much for the incredible visuals and music as telling a story; this one knocked it out of the park.
ohmy_dthis might be expected or unexpected either way i don't careShow ContentSCOTSMAN IS BACK (in episode 5)
might be worth mentioning that ohmy's spoiler is for ep 5, not for ep4 which just came out
im kinda hoping we get context for jacks claim that giant creatures like that were aku's creation as well, because i thought aku just made big ol machines. maybe jack's just romanticizing the past? 50+ years is a long time
Malaise, a general feeling of discomfort, illness, or unease whose exact cause is difficult to identify.

holy shit, it just keeps getting better and better
the art and design style of the inside of the monster was incredible, they really worked hard to turn it into a whole other world
also scotsman hype
hopefully jack brought ashi to his side and she'll fight alongside him against aku

seen that this thread hasn't been bumped in a while and seeing as we're approaching episode 8 i figured it was overdue
for those who haven't been watching:
- the scotsman came back (and was quickly disintegrated)
- jack conquers the spirit of suicide and sets himself on a path to find his sword
- ashi kills the mother of the daughters of aku
- jack redeems himself by conquering his inner anger and gets his sword back (along with a shave, haircut, and some clothes)
- that stupid talking robot is back
- somebody said penis

viper- that stupid talking robot is backscaramouche is the best thing about this season so far and youre wrong if you say otherwise
also inb4 he's able to tell aku about jack losing his sword like 5 mins before jack shows up and gets aku killed

That line felt really out of place for both the character and the series. I felt like it was only tossed into the script because *gasp* taboo words on network television
Other than that
The show has been great and I'm hyped for this weekend!

I can totally understand where you're coming from, but I really thought it was hilarious in a form similar to shock humor. It's because you'd never expect something like that from Samurai Jack, and it will be one of those "legendary lines" that makes this season special.
It's easy for the show to get corny over time--especially with some of the themes centered around Ashi. Scaramouche is like a crude breath of hilarity that keeps the show "alive" or "fresh" in a sense. Sure, it sways away from the old formula, but I dunno dick jokes lol

going to dailymotion and typing in the episode's roman numeral works pretty well. not even including the words samurai jack. like the most recent episode is xcviii.
Does anybody else want to see
Damn only 3 episodes left, it has been fucking amazing so far

I was surprised too, would never expect it, it's also weird to see
but anyways this season is aimed to an adult public

I was surprised too, would never expect it, it's also weird to see
Jack killing flesh and blood living creatures like the rams from the last episode, among the other violent scenes on this season
but anyways this season is aimed to an adult public
My thoughts as of now
Also brings me to the point where I hope the ending isn't rushed, as far as we know we only have episode 8, 9, and 10 left so I hope they don't rush this otherwise I will be super sad
The last episode was kinda of a let down imo, Too much of jack just walking in the scenery and making tea really, fucking... slooooow. It made the battle with ashi and her mother really fucking fast which was a major let down seeming that the mother was a crucial character. Everything in that episode seemed rushed aside of jack just doing boring shit.

is it confirmed that this is the last season of samurai jack or no
If I had to guess how it's going to end: Jack won't get back to the past but stay in the present with Ashi, since she probably gets "erased" if he undoes everything, I think it's going to be some bittersweet ending about how they 'can't change the past' but could improve the future starting from now that Aku is gone
but this show always surprises me and something like this also seems way too cliche/predictable so I'm excited for what the final 3 episodes will bring
also I was raging hard when they "killed" the scotsman

Also, did anyone else hear the TF2 sound effect in next week's preview?

Schweppesokay that ending scene was abrupt lol

lol not at all fam, the entire episode built up to it. i'll just grateful if they didn't really drag it out over more than one episode.
honestly as long as Ashi actually stays useful and doesnt just devolve into "love interest," i'll be happy
ThorEatsWormsGotta admit, not sure if I liked the romantic comedy. I dunno it was alright.
