scout: legit_brazilian
scout: ??
roamer: unskilled
pocket: ??
demo: Jaguar
medic: Slicerogue
Looking for a pocket and a scout (probably flank oriented) for a low/mid IM team for S25. Looking for chill and friendly people with experience in IM or high open at least. Pockets need to be vocal leadership types who can call and lead. We play Sun - Thurs 930 - 11+~ est. Keeping the schedule is important therefore highlander players need not apply.
Please add Jaguar

A.) legit was on playoff open team this last season "It came from open" and even though they were like 15th place he managed to pound literally every single game.
https://play.esea.net/index.php?s=stats&d=match&id=9581884
In this one his team gets 5-1'd and he still manages to go 28-9-17 and take 3rd top dpm in the server, first top dpm on his team, take less heals than everyone but 2 people on both teams, even out fragged/damaged screwb their pocket with more than 2 times the heals and it isnt even just this one. Oh and hes Brazilian so he plays with 150+ ping and on that last team he main called and this isnt even just this log.
Legit is an amazing player and we are really glad to have him on our team.
B.) Neon has been really amazing in scrims despite having not played for a long time. has good dm and pretty good calls.
C.) Jaguar has multiple seasons of IM and has been playing for a long time and id like to make it clear that everyone on here is really grateful to him that hes willing to play low-mid IM again and pick us up. Hes already taught me quite a bit in 2 weeks of scrims even with multiple tryouts per scrim.
D.) I am definitely the most inexperienced on the team currently and its a great opportunity for me. I really wanna improve allot this season and I do feel like with this team I can do things. I wouldn't say I am dragging the team down, but scrims are always a positive environment where the goal is to improve and they are very productive. I strongly believe that most of the tryouts we've had so far would say the same thing.
tldr: legit, jaguar, and neon are amazing players and teammates and I am really looking forward to this season.
p.s. We've been scrimming a few open move-up teams and have been going pretty even. I am not saying we are amazing or anything but at least in scrims we seem to be doing fine.

It's been like two years since ive played with him so he's likely changed and matured, but I remember that though he had good aim, his ego was so big that he refused to take advice from Marxist (I linked one of his videos and he said something along the lines of im better than him, he's a washed up medic main, since he was at the time playing soldier in open)
I really tried to help him get better at the game but he was also like completely against the concept of watching demos because he would just rationalize the same decisions and blame himself for not hitting more shots
Stoperr and I finally got him to look at a demo with us and his decision making was so comically bad that we literally couldn't stop laughing (which triggered him so much he left mumble and said he didn't wanna play anymore, iirc)
After I eventually just gave up and cut him, he decided to make a mediocre frag video from scrims against us and at the end zoomed into the stats where he did marginally better than our roamer who hadn't played tf2 in like half a year (neon also lost the scrim iirc and went severely negative, was outfragged/outdamaged by saam back before he was a scout main which is honestly super embarrassing)
He also had this tendency to lie about his experience, pretty sure a few of his lft threads got completely shit on when people realized he was full of shit. The season after I played with him he claimed to have gotten 5th in open (which we did without him) and when I called him out he changed his claim to 4th since that was our seed at the end of regular season which he played most of (and got carried by literally everyone else on the team)
He was like 15 at the time and everyone does stupid shit when they're that age, but I feel like I have to point this out to tell people what he used to be like lol (didn't really want to derail the thread but I felt I had to, if only to correct viper)

Yeah both Jaguar and I have heard plenty about his old attitude and I personally have seen his old lft threads but currently he hasn't caused any issues and is pretty open to criticism.

will vanquish 8k once more
will vanquish 8k once more
Vanquish 8k? Haha maybe. Raph and dflame were pretty instrumental in that match of course.
Thanks for all the replies. You probably didn't need to type all that Slice lol. I was never close to neon back then but even so I could tell he had a prick-ness about him.. but now he seems super chill and nice so I'm not going to hold any grudge ( that I never really had in the first place).
To anyone who's been around long enough to follow my teams' habits over the years it should be pretty apparent where my priorities lie. I literally say "I'd rather lose with good people that I like than win with crappy toxic teammates". I've had opportunities to better advance in the past and several times have chosen to play with people that I like at a lower level. That isn't to imply that I'm much better than low/mid IM it's just that's how it is for me. If you think that's lame or stupid then that's your opinion and you're welcome to it. And yet I'm of the mentality that I'd rather get shit on in IM and be challenged hard rather than take it easy in open and place well and I get teammates with a similar mindset. I intend to keep using my roster (shoutout to rolling and all my former m8s that did work to move it up).
