G500 was a great mouse, i never had the same sensation on others. tryed g502, Mionix Castor, Ec1 and now i'm sticking with the G403 (which i'm loving) but none of these will make your thumb feel like in heaven....G500 will miss you buddy :(

Edit: most of the time the G500 problems are due to the cable which you can still buy overpriced

g500 has weird sensor placement, at the front.. but if youre used to it.. also was like the first mouse with freescrolling wheel, everyone who does kz used it.

so basically its a weird mouse cause of the sensor placement, I doubt there's anything that feels the same.
I have one which I hate but not selling tbh. you can still buy them on ebay.

If you just want the exact same mouse, you can always buy new Omron switches (6 pack of the exact Chinese ones used in the g500, 4 pack of the higher quality Japanese equivalent) and replace your old ones.

Even if you have to buy a soldering iron, it'll likely be cheaper than just getting a new one, and should last you longer overall too.
