Hello, my current headset is close to dying as it is disconnecting more and more often, to be fair it has lasted for 3 years now.
But now before it breaks at LAN or before an important game I'd rather buy one now.
Price range is about 100-150€ , don't really wanna spend more, positive would be if it's closed ears because LAN, duh
oh and maybe even a cheap good mic to it ?

I heard those that were given to players and casters at Dreamhack events had really good isolation, but I don't remember the name.

Keep in mind to not get one that requires an external amplifier. Beyerdynamic's MMX 300 are super awesome but do require one, for example.

Audiotechnica has fantastic sound quality

I own an open ear AD700 but they make closed ears too, though Audiotechnica will probably be towards the top of your price range

Those dont require an amp. They are 32 Ohms and easy to drive.

dashnerDT770s

Got these at work and they block out sound quite well, not like ear protection but they are a lot more comfortable. If my ingame sounds are low or I don't have music on I can hear if someone is talking next to me, but not very clearly.

Would recommend

I just checked, Beyerdynamic sells both a 32 and 600 Ohms version. We're both right!

Ah cool, forgot about that. And yeah you can pretty much forget about driving the 600Ohms without an amp.

dashnerSimilar thing with the DT770s. There's both a 250 Ohm and a 32 Ohm (I think?) version. 250 isn't that bad without an amp but you're still better off getting the low ohm version if you have no external amp.

Also 80Ohm and 600Ohms of the DT770. I've never understood the upside of getting a high ohm pair of headphones.

Because getting the damping right with low impedance is really difficult?
Dynamic drivers mean there has to be a coil. There has to be inductance. Otherwise it won't work.
If you reduce the resistive part of the impedance (thicker coil = larger, higher weight, have fun with the problems that causes) then all the means is that the reactive part dominates. That always leads to very enjoyable math to figure out how to cancel out that behaviour.

Also output impedance is still a thing (tubes oh god why) and some amps suck at delivering current but provide voltage for days.
