Individually, raymon; in terms of achievement, shade; in terms of impact on the game, pyyyour.
Not gonna go into too much detail as I've done it many a time before.
Edit: also #26 it's not quite as simple as the competition sucking now despite mechanical skill improving, there's a lot to weigh up to compare players of different teams and eras - I'd put a lot of recent medics up there with the greats

How long has Raymon been playing at the top levels? I'm ashamed to say that I haven't been following EU TF2 very long. He was definitely the best Medic at Rewind, so I'd probably say he's the best right now. I'm not sure how long a player needs to be at the top to be considered the "best ever."

Raymon first played in prem in s16 (and won it) with Epsilon when KnOxXx left the team, after the team died in offseason he played high until he was picked up again in the middle of s24, at i58 and rewind he had the best med performance since shade at i52

Didn't KnoxXx mentor Raymon in the first place though.
IDK why people think that players who have more achievements(won lans, invite seasons etc.) are better than other. Shade for example.Team won lan/season, TEAM. More important criterions when we're talking about the best player(medic in our situation) are Individual skill/knowlege and understanding of the game.
Nursey/Raymon are the best in the game atm in my opinion.

i was going to go with boring shade response, but I agree with tatuwah actually

I'm definitely biased, also my lack of knowledge and experience on the game means that I can't properly express why Raymon is good, but certainly he's the best that I've played with. Even if he hasn't played in over a week he still hits most of the arrows, and the arrows he misses at times are already the kind of clutch arrows you don't expect in the first place(he still hits many of those), he also buffs players well and makes it really comfortable and confident to play with him.
He's super chill as well and contributes to comms in a good way, keeping them clear too. I can't remember any times really when it would've come down to Raymon's positioning mistakes or other choices that would mess up situations or rounds, more likely that I have ran the wrong way out. (this is noob input but I'm on a positive mood and want to write something ":D").

Playing your role within a team in as impactful a manner as possible is EXACTLY what makes a good player.

Honey is actually insane, I'd love to see him on a top team and show everyone what he's made of
Raymon by miles. For achievements yeah shade its already been said before. Nursey and kos are/were very very good. Raymon though, holy shit, I have never played against a med that hard to kill the guy is just a god at medic. I dont really get the whole mirelin was the best shit tbh like he had good movement for sure but he played like an idiot.

I never really got this video, raymon is top 2 meds in the world but he just accidentally surfs 2 rockets and nuze has a spaz attack

I feel like you have to consider the impact within their respective era. Mechanics have improved a lot, but that's more testimony to how long the game has been out than it is to the actual players being mechanically superior.
Pyyyour changed the game every time he played - he's in the conversation.
Shade has consistency (whether you think he's consistently good, or just consistently on b4nny's team). I remember at i49, when everyone was on Mirelin's dick (deservedly so, he's nuts), a lot of cats were saying Shade was "choking" or "dropping a lot" and Mirelin was better. Of course, they just saw a couple moments on stream - it turned out Shade and Knoxxx died less/dropped less than anyone else that lan. You could say that's because of their supporting casts (idk, though, TCM was pretty fucking good that lan, and Shade's supporting cast was trash.com... he had Cyzer and Tagg for fuck's sake) - either way - Mirelin had the sexier jukes and the flashier plays, but that doesn't really make him a better medic (kinda like how div 8 players thought Kaidus was the best demo because he "hit crazy bombs and had the fastest rollouts"). Good medics are clutch in stupid situations. Great medics don't get in stupid situations. Shade is in the conversation.
Harb was actually super underrated for the same reason (idiots who base their judgments of players off two or three stream highlights). He was all in - high risk, high reward. When it didn't work, it didn't look good. When it worked, it was next level.
Knoxxx, Harb, Mirelin - maybe they're in the conversation, too. At the end of the day, though, it's just a conversation. Everyone wants to put shit into a neat and tidy box and say "X player was better than Y player" - but it's not that neat and simple, obviously.
edit: don't click the trash.com link, idk what website that is

I mean I say in the video that he doesn't even realize the soldier is there in saw, it's not like I'm pretending it was all intentional. It's just that it's fucking ridiculous for him to survive there and get a 2k after some very very precise intentional movement as well, even though luck played a part.
Edit: also ye consider how well he adapted after the accidental surf - he was pretty quick thinking, that's not easy to do

Cmd has been one of the best medics in Europe during the era of Full Tilt/Crown/Lego and yet i don't see his name ?
Memes aside of him dropping uber, he has been great by playing with and against him.
And you can't really compare medics that played before and after the scout speed buff thing. Half of the medics that were garbage in terms of dodge became better because of that change.
And i don't see the name of Bulle either, he is literally the most underrated medic.

Not necessarily best medics ever but a list of medics I like and reasons why
Raymon is indisputable at this point for being the carry med he is.
Nursey goes for some really stupid shit and actually manages to make it work in game
Raptor found every opportunity to take advantage of the ETF2L ruleset in s26 and did some things no other teams would even bother doing. His use of vaccinator at crucial times was as effective as it was annoying. Also his mechanics are second to none.
SyncING is simply an ultiduo legend. Lots of people will say he didn't really need to do much as he was playing with Timus anyways, but he knew his role and executed it to near perfection when he was. I am very happy to have had the chance to play with and against him.
Also almost nobody knows who he is but Joeysparkz blows my fucking mind whenever I play ultiduo against him. God movement, and arrows that never ever miss, at least against me.
