I've had the blessing of casting with some fantastic people, and a couple stand out.
Analysts:
Marxist: probably the most fun guy to be in mumble with and I've always adored his casting and treasured casting with him.
Sideshow: absolutely blessed to have casted with him, he is absolutely brilliant and you can see why he's getting gigs in OW because of it. He also is easily the best analyst at bringing fantastic play by play.
Smithsonian: He's probably not going to get mentioned here, but I've always felt him to be super under rated, definitely the best caster in TFLIVEs history, and easily my favorite co caster, I took huge leaps forward as a caster at TFLIVE, and he's a large reason why.
Maks: He gets a mention solely for being my co caster in both the best game I ever had the honor of casting, as well as the best cast I've ever done, Crowns vs Jasmine on Product at i58.
Bloodsire: Surprised I haven't seen him mentioned yet, I never got the chance to cast with him, but IMO he's the best analytical caster in TF2 history.
As for PBP, Bren and Gecks, no one has brought the level of hype and entertainment they did. They're absolute legends, and even better, top notch people.
Huge thanks to Bren for the help he gave me in TFLIVE as a caster, both stuff he actually said, as well as his presence there giving me someone to strive to be remotely as good as, being a tremendous role model.

I will agree here and give love for him also. I'm not sure I can think of any other caster that I've watched and just thought.. "God damn is this guy ever good" more than him. He just has a certain brilliance with words.

Marxist - as an analyst he knows how to leave most of the talking to the main caster before coming in with some great commentary after the fact. Never says more than he should, never (from memory) steps on the toes of a co-caster and manages to make stalemates fun to watch. He'd be my pick for the best caster, even if I'm not sure his style would work for a solo cast.
Admirable - is wonderful in general. Just a really solid all round caster.
Sideshow - a hell of a lot of fun to watch, but also with really solid casting beyond just a stream of jokes.
eXtine - probably my first introduction into watching competitive TF2 alongside Sal. With a Yyaaoww my years of watching comp TF2 began, I would be remiss not to mention him.
Sal - see above, also just for being really enjoyable and easy to watch, especially as a newcomer.
Kip - the only caster I really miss, while Sal's style has been imitated fairly well by a bunch of new casters Kip's casts were insanely fun to watch, even especially when they were low level highlander matches, she'd be my pick for most underrated caster.
While I'm here I'd just like to thank anyone who's casted or handled production of TF2 matches. It's really appreciated, and the people who put them on YouTube are bloody wonderful, going through archived streams is pretty frustrating, so thanks for that.

I wouldn't really put either of them in my list of top tier casters, but I just want to give a shout out to BUICK and Getawhale as a duo at some of the GXL lans. I don't think any duo of casters would have been able to make the massive downtime they dealt with as entertaining as it was with them.

I remember the analyst Sigma from a while back in NA TF2? I always enjoyed him, any other opinions on him..? Nowadays he still streams, i think (watched lots of his Ori content)?

Gecks, Marxist, or ever_x for the best voices
Sideshow and Bren definitely one of my favorite duo. So much hype and knowledge throughout the game, that's why they got picked up for a number of OW gigs. Gecks is amazing, smooth voice, amazing analysis for the game, Marxist too. HiipFire is actually p good too, also Frysk, my NEW favorite Irish caster. Both these guys prove they know how to hype and analyse a match and doing good in it. Cornpop is absolutely nice too. Bless the new gen casters, Bless the old gen casters.

I'm sad that I missed out on a lot of this great casters everybody's bringing up, but I feel lucky that I got to see some great matches casted by Gecks. I absolutely loved his casting and it really helped me enjoy watching competitive TF2 as I was first getting into it

Always enjoy TheFragile's casts. Brings knowledge and history, yet is able to give his partner room to talk.

Not sure if many people would remember him now, but No Mercy was a fucking beast back in the GreaverTV days. Would pretty much have to solo cast and keep it really entertaining while Greaver just screamed about sheep's headshots all game.

SpaceCadetCommanderX may be the most overlooked and underrated caster in the community. He has a good voice for casting and has a lot of experience. IMO he was tailor made for being a color commentator but could main cast just as well. CommanderX would regularly say why or how some push or tactic didn't work in a quick and accurate way, while not lingering too long at the expense of the current action. Not many casters can do this well and they just keep talking about a push that failed 90 seconds ago while new plays are currently happening and not being casted accurately.
Very underrated, also possessed of a sly wit. His description of Greg's spy play on Freight will stay with me

Admirable because he is the only caster past and present who has been able to consistently identify and call out cheeky plays.

Sideshow and Bren for their excitement, Gecks and Bloodsire for professionalism and analysis. All four of them could lay a claim on the best caster. Also ma3la was very promising at i58, though probably not the best caster of 'all time'

Because of his dedication to the game and the community for such a long time. For years he has put out casts, special feature videos, his work with Sal and Pyyyour, yyyaaaooo vlog, attendance to LANs, endorsing fundraisers, advocating tf2 to Valve and sponsors, etc.
He's a fun caster, if not the most technical or precise, but overall involvement with the community makes him the best in my mind.
