What is the best cpu for tf2 and streaming under 300$ ?
overclocked 7600K purely for gaming
ryzen 5 1600(x) for everything else
ryzen 5 1600(x) for everything else
According to Valve that would be a Pentium 4 processor (3.0GHz, or better)

AnightmareOfWorldis the intel Core i5-7600K good ?
it's great for gaming, but not the most ideal for streaming
if you're going with an intel chip you're going to want an i7, but a lot of ryzen chips (especially the ryzen 7 ones) are great for content creation (streaming being one of them)

Intel - Core i7-6700K or a AMD Ryzen 5 1500X ? which better for tf2 and streaming ? and i wouldn't be running high settings.

if you're picking between the 6700k and the 1500x, the 6700k is the better option for gaming and streaming. However, a Ryzen 7 1700x will make more sense if you're building a PC for streaming. The more processing cores will benefit you while streaming, but either way both of these chips will be able to handle a stream pretty well.

But i heard tf2 doesn't really like amd processers or is it different with ryzen ? Anyway I Don't want the cpu for streaming and i will be just streaming tf2 and i play tf2 at low settings , anyway i will be getting the 6700K

look at single-thread performance, think thats the biggest factor for TF2 and other unoptimized old games

i5-7640X now actually.

Why the 6700K and not the 7700K? The 6700K is two years old and the same price.
Why are you comparing a 340$ CPU and a 190$ CPU? What did you expect the result would be?
