The very first one in 2004. Had a great community, ESL tournaments, but eventually driven to crap by cheaters and lack of support from the devs. There are still some people there who play clanwars just for fun and nostalgia. http://farcry.trackbase.net/?mod=serverlist
And yeah #4, the map editor was nuts, not the crap that we've got in 2 and 3. You could mod the game to oblivlion.

it's not that bad with the mod that stops the respawning outposts. I'm pretty sure you can turn the malaria shit off too
