10 Frags – +

Dx9 for decent hardware, dx8 if you have a toaster. Dx8 is more stable for old GPUs

one nice benefit of dx9 is when you are in an uber exchange because the uber flashes giving you an indication that its about to wear off whereas for dx8, its the solid color the entire time and just ends.

imo dx8 is less flashy, looks better and makes things more discernible and concise, but it's not really a huge change between either of them
