ESEA S25 W7: froyotech vs. Ascent

ABOUT
Tonight we have a match between froyotech and Ascent on Granary! What? No, this is not early season 21 before the old Ascent squad was picked up by RONIN. No, you haven't stepped into a time machine... it's just time for one hell of a match between the new Ascent (with Ma3la once more) and froyotech.
At the moment of writing, both of these teams are on long win streaks with 1 loss each, with froyo in 3rd and Ascent in 2nd behind Gnomercy (who have played more games). The difference between these two teams comes from their meeting on Sunshine back in Week 2, where Ascent took a 5-2 victory over FROYO. Both teams have made a roster change or two since then, and this match is a good way to measure how these teams have changed before playoffs.
Casters will be Marxist and Row, with drshdwpuppet working production.

Granary could actually be an upset map for Ascent based on the fact that froyo took it 4 to 1 in the S24 GF. But because of the roster changes, we'll see how this plays out.

Edit: Really though it's funny how when evl beat Froyo there was like 5 pages of responses and a few threads on the match but this match page is silent by comparison

That's because the invite scene is literally pro wrestling. Ascent and Paddie in particular are the self-proclaimed villains that are paradoxically fan favourites because they're more interesting characters, and b4nny is like a Roman Reigns who exists as the powerhouse of the game that everyone wants to beat, and the fans want to see beaten.
