ESEA S25 W7: Velocity eSports vs. Faint Gaming

ABOUT
Tonight’s TF2 action takes place on cp granary, where both Faint Gaming and Velocity eSports are fighting for the final spot in the postseason. Both teams have had a rough past few weeks, with only Velocity managing a win over LunatiK as of recent. That being said, Faint is still ahead of Velocity in the invite standings, but their default win over the dead hibbleton roster keeps these two teams essentially tied, making this match even more important for both teams. Will Faint Gaming’s current 3 game losing streak be extended by Velocity, or can Faint make the final push to seat themselves in the postseason?
Casters will be Cornpop and Row with Nicell doing production!
Note: Garbuglio will be subbing in for Velocity eSports while Marmaloo is away.

Not quite. Now that Velocity has won, assuming there are no upsets with the mid level teams loosing to LunatiK or winning against froyo, it'll come down to two matches in week 9. Meat Market vs Velocity and Meat Market vs Faint.
If Faint beat MM and Vel don't, Faint will make playoffs.
If Vel beat MM and Faint don't, Vel will make playoffs.
If both Faint and Vel beat MM it'll be a tie, and whoever has the most rounds won will make playoffs
If both Faint and Vel both loose to MM, then it'll be a 3 way tie with MM involved, and the team with the most rounds will make playoffs.
