I've only been gaming in general for so long and even though i've pretty much dedicated myself to tf2, I know that tf2 is not the only game that exists, I wondered what you ppl also play so that when someone asks me "what games do you play" I dont have to say "tf2" then get either responses of confusion or laughter
thanks in advance
quick edit: preferably multiplayer games like cs:go or the like

Dota 2 is pretty fun. Big learning curve but a nice change of pace from TF2.

Age of empires 3 the complete collection is really really fun. its a very dead game but for a while a bunch of friends I met through tf2 would play 8 man free for all and it would be very very fun. it always goes to $7.50 during steam sales.

so when someone asks you what games you play you're going to give them games you don't actually play?

Duck Game on steam is actually a blast especially if you have friends to play it with. I recommend waiting for a steam sale to buy it though. The game looks a bit silly but hey we play tf2 XD

new very big lore expansion released today (went from 4 acts to 10 acts). considered a better successor to diablo 2 than diablo 3 is by many many people
Not knowing what to do at first is the best part of it so don't worry about being clueless at first

Pokemon showdown is cool. if you are into card games you should check out Eternal Card Game, it sounds like a shitty mobile game but plays similarly enough to MtG. It also has its own quirks so it isn't just the same game, and it's actually got a decent client. Call of Duty zombies mode in WaW and Black Ops is legit fun. Ultimate Chicken Horse is like a party platformer and it's super fun with friendos.

If you're ok with a bit of RNG and grinding, I recommend Darkest Dungeon, the best game of 2016 in my opinion.
Be warned, it is not a game for the weak-willed.

borderlands 2 is still hella fun with friends, and you can buy the dlc later if you enjoy it enough
left 4 dead 2 still has decent playerbase for campaign games, idk about vs. mode

+1 on rocket league. Once you get past learning the basic fundamentals of how the game works it's actually a blast
quake champions, quake live, and reflex are also nice but personally I'd only play quake live or reflex if the quake champions servers are down.

+1 to Manacute.
Before I played TF2 I played Borderlands 2 for endless hours and eventually beat the game on every character. Its a super fun game and the more you learn the more you wanna play, also the DLC's are pretty good and keep the game interesting during the boring main quests.

Quake Champions needs more player for testing, so it'd be cool if you try it out and give feedback. Especially if you tired of dealing with bs classes and unlocks

If you wanna get into something serious I cant suggest dueling in an arena shooter enough, its really fun and teaches you a lot and forces you to think constantly.
