3 months ago, in the preseason for Season 25, we at Faint thought about sponsoring a TF2 team. Being my first PC game, TF2 has always been a great causal game to play and a stepping stone into multiplayer FPS. Though I admit I knew next to nothing about the competitive side of TF2, or if it even existed, I wanted to figure out how I could become part of the competitive community. Not knowing anything about the TF2 scene, I started with a post on the wondrous world of /r/tf2, where the members graciously pointed me towards TFTV. With our goal of reaching playoffs made by a team of not necessarily "Invite Experienced" players, we are all smiles back at the Faint Camp.
Though the reactions in TFTV were a bit different to say the least, we're definitely happy we stuck with the idea of supporting an invite team.
