i know blaze still plays but his roaming is so fucking beautiful to watch i swear, him and seagull were the best roamers to play the game imo
Drackk because he took single digit heals while doing tons of work for his team
also marxist, his ability to talk about the game in an accessible but helpful manner has probably helped like a thousand new comp players learn game sense by now, which is a very tangible "legacy"
glasswhat was the first team to really run a separate pocket and flank scout?
First team that I can really remember with a distinct pocket scout and flank scout would be with carnage/engima on pandemic/complexity

ymRaisinLansky for popularizing gunboats pocket. I imagine some of the older players like reptile and darn helped shape the meta a ton in the early days, but I wasn't around then so I can't say.
that was tri btw

No, it was harbleu s11 (i think) with Mihaly's Flow. He didn't run it full time, but he certainly did gunboats pocket before tri tried it a year later

i'm sure several pockets over the seasons experimented with gunboats pocketing, can't really pinpoint who really pioneered it
people like harbleu, tri, and lansky were really the stand-out names in na that adopted that play-style though

sorry but all of u guys r wrong, i created gunboats pocket
harbleuI'll gladly take credit for it
If you take credit for that you also have to take credit for killing yourself by rocket jumping and trying to rj with a shotgun out and shooting the floor

I know this is a competitive focused discussion, but I feel like Star_ probably deserves to be on this list. The content he created was really good for the time. I cant think of any personality that got as big as he did playing TF2.
star_ got carried by jerma. if you think about it, all of your favorite star_ videos except for maybe 2-3 of them always involve somebody else, usually jerma.
Jerma vs Star_?
The winner is obvious...
