Basically, when I focus on my aiming, my movement get clumsy because I tunnelvision it. And when I focus on my movement, my aim gets clumsy. For some reason I cannot focus on both effectively when I try.
Is there a good way to practice focusing on both, or am I just not trying hard enough?
Edit: I've gotten enough help, and learned my lesson to not ovrthink these things.

You're still looking for that one simple trick to get dm/aim like you've been playing dm/MGE for 10 hours every day.
That one simple trick is playing dm/MGE for 10 hours every day.

I thought playing that much would make more harm than good.

Alright. Here's how I think about dm. Think of it like chiseling a sculpture out of marble. Aim is something you acquire over time and it adds onto itself the more you use it. It's a sculpture that will get more and more beautiful the more you use it and chisel away no matter how tired, bored, or how much you think you suck at doing it. To be honest. Don't worry about your aim. Play the game and take it along for the ride. Do wrist stretches and mge/soapdm to warmup or just to work on the raw aim at most.
This is your aim right now
https://carraramarbles.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/block-white-marble.jpg
You need to nurture it and work on it. The problem is you expect to grind mge or soapdm for 10 hours then wake up tomorrow a god. That's not how it works at all. The more reasonable thing to do is mge for an hour or two. Play some scrims or pugs. Then go to bed and wake up tomorrow and do it again. Repeat this and don't worry about the results yet. A month from now you might only be slightly better or more consistent. MIGHT. That shouldn't bother you. Two months. Three months. Heck, a year from now you might only hit 20% more of your shots. That shouldn't bother you.
The reason why we get so annoyed isn't because of how often you ask the question but how simple the answer is.
You'll find the more you worry about the aim, the less you'll improve. I promise you if you come away from this thread and you only focus on gamesense and don't worry about the aim. Eventually it will come. Eventually. It might be a year from now. It might be two years from now. But, you'll do what we all did and wake up someday realizing you made your aim into this....
https://cdn.kastatic.org/KA-youtube-converted/JbWGusfynCw.mp4/JbWGusfynCw.png
.....and you'll never be so happy as to realize the best thing you did to focus on your aim, was not to focus on it at all.

Not really. I play TF2 max 2 hrs per day. Playing too much would just turn me into Zombie.
But you're right about all the rest; I grew impatient after my +4,000 hours of playing, started overthinking and thought I was doing something wrong, and started to spam forums asking for help to maximize my improving.
Basically I gree impatient and overthought things, which ended up embarassing myself.
Thanks for the help.

If you're only playing 2 hours a day no matter how long you play it will be hard to get better without that grind. Sorry, if you want to get good at aiming while moving play dm for that 2 hours each day and in a while you'll improve. When you're trying to build hard muscle memory 2 hours a day means a lot more of what you do is getting lost the following day than you think is.

I can see exactly what you mean, I'm also limited absolutely by my DM and don't really want to grind hours of DM
I think its important to realise you can play on a fairly good level while not being able to hit things, so try to think about improving your fundamentals and positioning if you don't feel your aims getting better, there's no secret strategy for getting better DM.

I know, but there's simply lots of other things which keeps me away from huge gaming sessions.
I'll definitely play more DM amd move away from MGE.

it doesn't have to be like 5 hour straight sessions, you could take breaks in between stuff and do other things. doing it that way might also help your ability to play consistently without warming up, might be useful someday if you're busy and forced to play a match immediately after getting home one night

A lot of the responses he gets are memes.
@Crenicus
There's more to it than just "just play the game". If this was true then the DM abilities of someone would be directly proportional to their cumulative game hours and there would be no such thing as players who rise to the top a lot more quickly than others. Likewise there is no such thing as a "get good quick" trick.
There is both grind and understanding, not one without the other.
Your sensitivity matters.
Your DPI matters.
Your framerate matters.
Your understanding of game mechanics matters.
Your own human reaction time matters.
Your muscle memory matters.
Your disposition and whether or not you're well rested matters.
All of these and more contribute to your maximum capability.
But since your current problem is aim/movement multitasking, it really falls back to advice that others have given you: "play the game", DM and all that. It's arduous and can feel like wasted effort, but the "trick" is to discipline yourself to pay undivided attention to that one thing you want to fix. It's this discipline that will make the process quicker.

the unfortunate truth is that alot of crosshairs in tf2 are scams and dont perform well
you gotta keep switching the crosshair until you find one that will perform
but for you ill just reveal them to u
+ <-- this is useless
o <-- this is also useless
>< <-- useless
X <-- this one is a scam
(o) <-- this is the one you want
now lets talk about size
what you want to do it make an okay sign with your hand and adjust the variable diameter until the hole matches the size of your nipple. and tehre you go. now u have the perfect crosshair ratio

About that, is this good website to test it?

you don't want to focus too hard on one thing, to make sure you don't get tunnel visions you can look around the screen instead of just staring at ur cross hair, or you can move your mouse around a bit

I might not have the best advice, but a mentor of mine told me a while ago that he found he got much better at movement by simply doing surf/jump maps and occasionally running around a map jumping all over the place.
And as for aim, what shylo said was the perfect analogy, try to put in an hour of dm a day and treat yourself well so you're in good conditions to play, and you will notice some improvement in the next few days, at least this is what worked for me.
edit: Your mentality is also very important, get yourself into the mindset which you are driven by desire for improvement, don't focus on your failures, but focus on your successes regardless of how small they are.
best of luck.

Realised the other day my movement is trash. I can just aim quite well.
There don't seem to be any quick fixes. Play dm play jump maps play surf, jump around maps.evrntyslly your movement and aim will pair.. Just see what you find helps . I guess dm make sense due to it being a cluster fuck where you have to dodge a lot and shoot
