With the conclusion of Insomnia61, ANTIC, who placed 4th at the event, will be making several changes to their roster for the upcoming ETF2L season.

Pot8o, who was picked up as ANTIC’s scout for i61, will be leaving the team to attend boarding school. Roamer T0m has decided to quit TF2 completely, and stated on a teamfortress.tv forum post (and confirmed from T0m himself) that i61 was his last LAN:

ANTIC began as a long-term team project formed by AMS, with LANs as the primary focus. With poor results from ETF2L Season 27 and placing seventh place in Premiership, ANTIC’s efforts looked dire. However, the team delivered a stronger performance during LAN before being knocked out during the i61 lower brackets by third place team Lowpander.

AMS spoke to teamfortress.tv about future plans for his team:

We didn't plan to continue playing after LAN but I think we are happy with our performance and everyone had a good time playing, so we decided to try to attend the LAN in Sweden and play in ETF2L Season 28. Smirre and scrab will be playing for sure, Serotone seems like a maybe at the moment. We have some pretty promising trials lined up and I can see this lineup succeeding.

Currently, ANTIC’s roster is:

Scout: scrab
Pocket: AMS
Demoman: Smirre
Medic: Serotone

I kept telling myself that I was not gonna do some goodbye post but I dno I kinda wanna say goodbye :D

So it's been 9 years since I bought Team Fortress 2 and I don't regret a single minute of it. Truly thank you everyone, even the people who constantly shit on me the past season or so, for making my journey in TF2 so incredible.
I just don't enjoy playing this game anymore and as I've gotten older my right arm has started to hurt more and more. I just felt after i61 it was just the right time to move on. I have recently graduated from university and I am trying to sort a proper job etc you know all that normie shit you do when you get older.

But yeah, I don't wanna do some massive post so I'll cut it short. Thanks again to everyone who I've played with/against, all the production crews in the lans I've participated in and all the support thats been given from the TF2 community :D

actually thank you for providing me with ur demos back when you were in div2 or div1 i dont remember, you were among sollies i always looked up to, really sad to see you go but oh well, good luck in your endeavors [*] quite sad to see turbo leave also, european scene lost some of the best players it ever had today
