I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Roody and I posted on their forums asking about it and they did cancel the prize pot for TF2.

EDIT: That thread was posted on the 25th. So more than 2 days before.... still... 4 days before, and only because a TF2 player asked. That's professionalism at its finest.
