Cat Noises pounce into Invite

There's a new litter in the division. Last season's 4th place Open team Machine Soldiers Esports has made the jump into Invite, heavily revamping their roster along the way. Returning from the Open lineup are mc and Percy, with new members coming in the form of some familiar faces. Like most of the other new squads, Cat Noises brings together a blend of Invite veterans and rising stars in hopes of a strong season.

Leader and scout Percy has made playoffs in Open and Intermediate across the last three seasons, while demoman mc played for a variety of Intermediate teams during the same stretch. They will be two of ten players making their Invite debuts this season. Meanwhile Percy's scout partner bo4r quickly rose to Invite after three seasons of ESEA and was one of the scouts on LunatiK eSports last season. With many strong scout tandems in the division, it will be exciting to see how they compare.

The Invite experienced members of Cat Noises are soldiers kawa and pelt, and medic Saelot. These players are best known for being on past iterations of Meat Market, a team that has extended history across both Invite and Intermediate. Saelot and kawa have further history together as part of Season 24 Invite team fishy fishes. Each of them have played multiple classes at a high level and should provide veteran insight to the younger members of the team.

We asked Percy for quick thoughts on the new lineup and expectations for the season:

So we're hoping that we can possibly get some upset wins this season but our main goal is to improve as much as possible.

Tery_ has actually been helping out a ton with articles in the past week. A lot of these articles (specifically some of the EU ones which I'm going to try to get to in the next few days) would be incredibly delayed if it weren't for him.

The top5rocket and froyo articles were both started and finished today in a total span of about 6 hours, and even a bit less than that if you count the 2 or so hours that i had to spend going to class and walking to and from my apartment
