So I have huge difficulty staying focused while I'm playing games and I have ADHD but I don't wanna take my meds twice a day just so I can focus playing video games. Any advice?
coming from someone with moderate ocd, i feel where you're coming from
honestly, just find what puts you in your zone, whether it be comfy clothing or good music, and just game
it'll be really hard at first, but after a while you'll train yourself to get in your zone whenever you're doing what makes you feel that way

As far as out of game distractions go, try and eliminate as many as you can before playing. i.e. turn off your cell phone before scrims, close any background tabs/programs you don't need. As far as ingame, changing volumes of different in game sounds and using as low LOD as you can get away with can help getting distracted by small sounds and intricate visual details. Other than that, just focusing on the very basic objectives you need to and trying to shut out intricate details helps a lot. This is shit I have used since I can't get any ADHD meds until I see my doctor friday, have had the same issues for years. Hopefully some of it helps you.
pull a habib and pop some addy
or whatever thaigrrs taking to be able to stay up all night and still farm at like 5am his time (probably meth)

you do know adderall is basically watered down meth

I've lived with adhd my entire life, some things I've learned over the years:
Get some moderate cardio in 1-3 hours before you need to do anything mentally strenuous. Exercise every day. VERY IMPORTANT.
Don't eat too much, find the foods that bog you down, avoid those before anything important.
Obviously, nothing replaces what amphetamines do for someone with adhd - but after stopping amphetamine use I now take caffeine/L-theanine 2x a day and it works pretty well, I'd say operating at 80% of what adderall can do for you. I usually go a ratio of 1:2, so 200mg caffeine 400mg theanine.
Make sure you've got zero distractions. No music.
I don't know how old you are or what you're into but avoid smoking pot if you can. Most players I know with adhd (myself included) take a serious hit when on cannabis. No pun intended.
adhd seems shitty but you learn to live with it.

This^ plus i personally think it helps if you lower mumble volume and increase ingame audio. hearing people talk loudly distracts me big time.
