so ive got a bit of money from selling hats and shit on steam but summer is approaching here and i need to buy my snake and spider antivenom considering what happens during the summer when they all converge on people, whats the best way to turn that money into proper $$$ with minimal loss

I would just call up a few of my friends and tell them not to buy games on steam for a bit and instead just contact me and I would send them the game in exchange for paypal funds.

Wait until something big and popular releases that you and your friends will play and just do the exchange then (plus new games will deplete your funds faster and require fewer run arounds). That's the route I took when my kiddo uncrated something reasonably valuable and we sold it on the steam market lol.
