smh these name change threads

i keep seeing these name change threads that say "pls change my name to x, but if x is taken then just change it to y"

if you type

http://www.teamfortress.tv/user/yourdesiredname

and it comes up with someone's profile = the name you want is already taken

if you type said url and you see this:

= a profile with that username does not exist, therefore the username is available
