Hey, I'm looking for tips that help me improve my skill in the game. Atm I have +3000 hours into the game and still have problems with aiming and movement. (I have played quite a few hours of soap dm/mge/lobbies) When ever I play it feels as if the controles just don't do what I tell them to do. I don't know if its any problem with my setup or just me doing the wrong thing. To me it feels as if the hitscan shots don't register and projectiles come out delayed even though my fps seems totaly fine. Its really fustrating playing having all your shots miss and dying over and over when you expect to be able to come out on top.
things that might be the problem?
-desk too high for me, feels uncomfortible
-internet latency since it aint my fps (screen is 144hz btw)
-I just suck at tf2? ._.

The old membrane keyboard could be part of your problem as they typically ghost after 3 key presses, so for example, if you're crouch jumping you can only have 1 movement key active at any time so your ability to crouch jump diagonally will be effected (you can compensate by holding w and using your mouse, but that's not a good habit to get into). I would watch your hand and see if ESPECIALLY if you're holding W when you intend to move forward while crouch jumping, that would cause quite a lot of "I can't control my guy" on an old board. It could also just be a dexterity thing in the hand. Buy an old fighting game for 2$ and play it keyboard only - that'll get your hands used to pressing specific keys only, and you'll have some fun - unless you have to press more than 3-4 keys at once, then you're fucked.
