how do I make MGE and DM more fun? currently whenever I play MGE and DM I just get really flustered and don't want to do it. I know I need to improve my DM but currently I feel like I'm going backwards instead of forward.

how do I make MGE and DM more fun? currently whenever I play MGE and DM I just get really flustered and don't want to do it. I know I need to improve my DM but currently I feel like I'm going backwards instead of forward.

I listen to audiobooks with tf2's volume off. It has made dm a lot more relaxing for me

type !remove into chat as soon as you start losing you are here to win not to practice
if you miss the window in which you can type !remove before losing the match go onto the persons steam profile and write a ton of shit talk in their comments section, my personal favourite is 'lol you fucking suck dick' or just 'lol bad' you can go personal like telling them their mum is fat and their dad is gay
anytime you have high ground and the person is jumping at you don't attempt to airshot just rocket jump roughly 1 second after they launch up and fire your entire clip of rockets onto them from birds eye view for an insta gib- this works 9/10 if you time your jump correctly
if you !add up against someone who is using the shotgun just stand and don't do anything besides typing 'lol no shotgun' into chat until they get the point that this is a RL vs RL match up and nothing more if they refuse to equip the gunboats you have confirmation that they are brain damaged and can do the same thing as when you lose in regards to writing mean things on their profile
if you win a match !remove instantly you dont need to stay and fight this unworthy opponent again and under no circumstances do you say 'gg' or 'close' or anything to encourage him to stay on the mge server
lastly dont ever entertain a scout !adding up to any of your maps simply !remove call them scum and pieces of garbage and report them to steam/valve directly. (do not write on their steam profile pages as you do not want to be associated with scout mains in any way)

if u wanna get better at 6s then just playing that will improve ur dm and 6s at the same time. even pubbing will, like i started doing pubs from not doing them for years and then after that, my scout got better than it ever did playing it in mge, and it showed in mge also.

i hated mge so much and refused to play it until about a month ago.
i disable chat, disable the elo and score hud, turn my volume off, and listen to music. eventually i stopped getting 20-0d, and even started winning here and there which made mge infinitely more enjoyable
another thing that helped is i stopped caring about winning mge and my elo, and made my only focus to hit as many rockets as i possibly can even if i die that round
its also a lot more fun to play with teammates than scouts who hide behind the trains and in valley and do nothing but pistol you from 12 miles away

just play against a friend, chances are you can fine one really good MGE buddy who will help you warm up and wont play gay
