Hey, so this has been happening somewhat frequently. So about once every ten minutes or so, my cursor will begin moving either perfectly right, left, up, or down at a slow and steady pace, without my touching the mouse. As soon as I move my mouse, it stops, but it's getting pretty annoying. I think it might have something to do with my drawing tablet software, but idk. Help?
Check if your sensor is dirty or anything is caught in there. Cat hair can cause that problem.
Edit: didn't see that it was perfectly up down left right. Unplug all input devices besides your keyboard and mouse, e.g. controllers and your tablet. Try uninstalling and reinstalling your drivers and software.

Bump because this exact same thing started happening to me right after Windows 10 updated. Is there a way to rollback the update or am I stuck with this?
It might be your mouse cord. When it is stiff, it can move the mouse on its own. Usually happens with new mice.

I've used the same mouse and drivers for the past 4 months but this didn't happen until the morning after the Windows update.
holy ive been having the exact same problem, thought my mouse sensor was just dying, not sure if it started happening after the windows 10 update or not
For anyone that sees this thread now, here's an article I found to roll back the update through Windows settings.
