certain mediguns don't have HUD elements for uber percentage (i believe specifically the australium medigun?)
not sure if it's SpecEssentials or TFTV HUD messing with it, but production team members actually can't do anything about it.

I hate Froyotech's consistency more than anyone - except maybe Invite players who have been around for that long I guess - they're like the fuckinf Patriots of TF2. I love delpo (shoutouts to when he played Pocket with Deer, I wanna see him Soldier in Invite honestly) but you can't realisticly expect me to believe Froyo / a team run by b4nny would lose two BO3s in Grand Finals. He has won Invite every season for the last five years except two times: when Mixup turned up on LAN (CAWCAW) and ash did an inside job. It's not about not believing in the underdogs, it's just what Froyotech does. I am not very good nor do I need to be any good at this game to see that. But sick burns!

sageausI don't like the 2 BO3 system for Grand Finals in ESEA. Season 24's Grand Final finish was so underwhelming considering it was decided in the end by who placed higher in the bracket. Froyo took 3 maps and so did EVL yet EVL were losers? I can understand wanting to reward teams for placing higher in the bracket but I don't think you should be able to tie victory just for placing higher in playoffs. I still don't feel as if the best team was decided that night, just the team that played better the previous weeks.

It's also worth mentioning if it were BO5 EVL would have won.

Although i agree that there should be something other than 2 bo3 as it's such a huge advantage and it can make the match go on for ages. It isn't always a case of who placed higher in the bracket. I mean didn't froyo beat Ronin a couple seasons ago even though they got knocked into the lower bracket?

A random point to add I wish the format of match could be changed during playoffs cause essentially 12 maps worth of time could be played since ESEA goes by 2 30 minute halves and not just a 30 minute game per map.

Let me tell you if you lost your first game you would play 5-6 games in a day unless you lost your second one lol, and the LB team had to beat the WB team twice - because the WB is rewarded for having won through by not having to play nearly as much, giving them a decided advantage as a reward for being as of yet undefeated.

For tf2, in our 26 seasons, we've had all 3 possible outcomes: WB team just wins through, WB team loses first series and wins second series, LB team wins both sets. The only real downside to the format is it takes a long time - but when it was a LAN that wasn't as much of a concern; now we're starting at 10:30 PM and playing no-sleep Olympics if the LB team wins.
