So I got a gtx 1060.
Calculated wattage, should be ok, but I still need to buy a power cable since my old card didn’t use one.
That’s where the problem lies: I can’t find where I would plug the cable in, were I to get one.
Do I need to get a new power supply?

Seeing as those cables are definitely not modular and as it seems all the cables from the PSU are being used. May need a new PSU. Id recommend a modular one so you CAN add new cables if needed or replace broken cables. Very convenient. PLUS you can style point your cables with custom colors.

that's a non modular power supply and doesnt support adding new cables to it. if you dont have a spare 6 pin connector for your gpu you'll have to get a new power supply
btw, you should never use power cables that didnt come with your PSU as they're often specific for each brand
also dust out ur cpu cooler you fucking slut

Not sure why you'd need a 2nd and 3rd opinion for a classic case of "I fucked up".
Also it doesn't seem like you even have a spare molex or something like that so even with adapter shenanigans I'd doubt your PSU does have the wattage. What marketing wants you to believe and wrote on the box can be very different from what the OEM actually put inside the PSU.
What would your budget be for the new PSU?

I’d say USD80 is about as high as ill go, but I’d rather be lower than that.

FYI going by the type of cooler you can't oc and have a <100W CPU so that and a 120W GPU + whatever else you're running should be absolutely fine with a 450W PSU if you want to save 10$.
