my game has been lagging/freezing off and on really badly for the past few days, it'll sometimes just happened once in a while, or it'll happen every 5 seconds.
i turned on net_graph to see whats going on, and i notice that the "in:" on net_graph, spikes to 1000+ when ever my game lags/freezes. (i don't know if it has to do with that, but thats just what i noticed)
i don't know whats causing this or how to fix it, if someone can help me out i'd appreciate that.

You should figure out whether or not it's your game or your internet. Play offline and see.

went offline, and went against bots and stuff while offline. i didnt notice it freeze or lag while doing it, so could it be my internet?

Yeah prob your internet, if your using wifi i suggest switching to ethernet.

Probs ur internet then. What are your connection settings in your cfg if you use any and do you play on wifi?

bump since this is still a problem.
i played other source games like L4D2 and CS:GO, and didnt get any lag issues, just seems to be tf2. so i dont think its my internet but i still dont know how to fix this.
