After acquiring their South American team, SVIFT have decided that the next region they’ll be adventuring into is the land down under of Australian TF2 by acquiring ozfortress Premier team, Mad Men, with the new team being appropriately named SVIFT AU.
The team includes mostly Australian talent, centered around the core duo of Hertz and lock, who have played together since Cooking with Coolio in OZFortress Season 15. Joining them as Demoman and Roamer respectively are pause and deft, a formidable duo who have multiple seasons experience together on teams such as nature walk and vicious delicious.
Rounding out the final 2 scout slots are Madness, a legendary scout who has played for Jasmine Tea in multiple ozfortress seasons and international LANs alike, and teejay, a very highly regarded scout from Asia who has played on many teams alongside Hertz and lock over multiple seasons.

Hertz also shed some light on the team's recent pickup, saying:
Getting picked up by SVIFT was something we had been considering since ozfortress Season 20 and having rebuilt our roster in the offseason, picking up rising talent in deft and pause who have both impressed so far and mixing it with the rest of our roster of more experienced players. Hopefully there will be less beefed rocket jumps with yewl taking a break from pocket to watch England lose more cricket. We decided that we were going to put more effort into improving as a team so felt that contacting SVIFT would benefit us greatly as we can work together with the other branches of the SVIFT org to assist us in improving our game. Ideally we would have liked to attend Rewind 2 but werent able to assemble a strong enough roster in time. I see alot of potential in this team and look forward to seeing how far we can go.
