As someone who has never been on an international flight, is there a best time to buy tickets? I'd be flying out of LAX. I've seen some places say 90 days before the trip but August is in the Summer so a lot of people are on vacations and all that. I have no problem buying a $650 ticket now but I don't want to pay a lot more if I wait in hopes of prices decreasing.

my parents were kind to purchase my flight tickets for me last year but kept on waiting for the price to drop so it went from $70 to like $200
