As we start week 6 of the Invite season, we're treated to the rematch of Ascent and Velocity Esports. They previously met in the regular season during opening week, with Ascent taking a 5-3 victory on Badlands. More recently however, Ascent got "upset" by SVIFT NA on Granary, losing 4-5 in overtime and falling to a 7-2 record. Their current second place just got very uncomfortable with SVIFT only a half game behind them, and Velocity one game behind. Meanwhile, Velocity is coming off their own heartbreaker Granary loss where they fell 2-3 to Running with Scizors. As expected, this match will have huge implications for playoffs to determine seeding. You won't wanna miss it. Casters will be Dreamboat and Marxist with nicell on production.
