my white logo zowie fk1 is showing signs of aging and ive been considering buying a new mouse for about a month or so but i dont know if i should wait for new mice to be released or buy a new one now
i want an ambidextrious mouse, i dont like the feel of right handed ergonomic mice since ive used ambidextrious mice for so long, so recommendations would be appreciated
im trying to hold out for zowie to release an fk3 with the 3360 sensor but who knows how far off that will be

And this happens in every fucking thread. Leave it in your own circle jerk threads rather than completely unrelated and productive threads.

Zowie mice are pretty top notch anyway so you're probably best sticking with the brand unless you're after flashy lights or something. If you're willing to experiment the ZA series is ambidextrous but more suited to a palm grip with a higher back. I'm personally saving up for a EC2-A since i tried an EC1-A for a few months but found it a bit too large for my liking.

nobody can notice a difference between the 3310 and 3360, don't let that deter you from buying another fk1 if it's a good shape for you

i heard something about the 3360 being more reliable and not hitting malfunction speed very often which has been issue with all the fk1s ive had as theyve gotten old
if thats not the case then ill probably just get another fk1 but im still open to other opinions, ive already been recommended the logitech g102

The malfunction speed for the Zowie implemented 3310 (30g) and general 3360 (50g) are both humanly impossible as well as the frame data differing the two sensors outside of their comfortable DPI ranges (20 frames or 4ms of smoothing on all DPI steps for 3310 | 2 frames of smoothing 0.2ms of smoothing ≤2000 DPI for 3360) is also only noticeable by computer testing. The 3310 implementation from Zowie today has no issues with the tilt slam issue, which the 3360 DOES NOT have already. The two sensors barely differ pretty much.
The only thing that might be worth waiting when it comes to the Next Gen Zowie FKs is that they upgrade their switches to Omron and they fix their prominent cheap feeling mouse wheels.

ok cool, thanks for the clarification
i saw zowie changed the mouse feet design with the ec1b and ec2b so i guess thats another reason for me to just get a new fk1 so that way i can use the spare set of hyperglides i have lying around

If you don't mind glossy coatings, the white editions of the FK and EC mice (FK in your instance) feel great imo. It occasionally requires a wipe with a towel to get the grime from my hands off of it but so far my white EC1-A has served me well and I'm incredibly happy I bought it, and that's coming from a deathadder which supposedly has a better sensor.
The difference between the 2 was negligible at best and in the end I brought the differences in aiming down to shape rather than sensor. That's just my 2 cents though. I also haven't heard of any teased mice that are coming out soon that would be really worth waiting for. Might be I haven't been paying a lot of attention to that market as well.

I own this and I can tell you issues I've had with the 1.5 weeks I tested it with.
- Uncomfortable with grip style (hybrid palm claw) due to the honeycomb pattern
- Its actually light enough I felt like lowering my sensitivity due to it being a bit too easy to move around.
- Finalmouse classic quality issues in which its 90$ (for Ultrasunlight) or 70$ (for the rest) for a mouse that feels like it'll break on me within a few months. Which happened with the Finalmouse Scream One S2 and their Finalmouse Classic Ergo 2 all within 2 months.
Also realized more to put on the list:
- Scroll wheel rattle (for my Scream One S2 it ended up having the scroll wheel completely stop functioning after 2 months)
- Finalmouse don't produce the mouse anymore AFTER they decide to work on a new design so if you get this AND IT BREAKS while they're developing a new mouse, which they've done 2 in the past 4 months, they will tell you to wait for the new mouse to come out and they'll send you that one if you want a replacement THUS you're receiving a mouse that could be of a completely different shell/shape, materials, etc. [FinalMouse Scream One S2 broke, asked for new one, told me they no longer are producing it and are working on their new mouse (which was the C. Ergo 2) and they'd send me one one it released, i declined as i'm not too much of a fan of the shape.
