I read some patch notes and it said that the healbeam was fixed to finally work in dx8. Didn't fix it for me though, anyone else with me?
thats a negatory on the medical heal beam functionality
I've given up hope regardless of dx level. Flick off patient, flick on, all better (for a while).
I always flick on, switch weapons, flick on. Works fine.
What I did to fix it was, going into my advance options and turning auto heal off than back on
kirbyWhat's wrong with it?
The heal beam is invisible
forgetsWhat I did to fix it was, going into my advance options and turning auto heal off than back on
I'll try that, thanks

The update that "fixed" it only fixed being able to see the healbeam in third person. It's still broken in first person view.
The heal beam works for me in dx80 but not dx81. This could be a temporary fix for people who need the fps boost and can't live without the heal beam.
The heal beam has always been somewhat erratic for me as far back as I can remember. It will occasionally disappear. Changing targets quickly fixes it though.

dx80 doesn't make the game faster, it's just more buggy than dx81

The update fixed it for me, I heard the issue might be if you have auto-heal on?
I'm not completely sure. But I had the same issue before and now it's fixed.

Auto-heal doesn't seem to matter. I don't use auto-heal at all, and it still is broke for me.
