So I've been using a Logitech G602 wireless mouse for about a year now, but I feel like it's time to git gud a find a wired mouse.

The problem(s) -

I have like 30 bucks.
The G602 is a long, tall, wide, brick.

This is making it a tad difficult to find something that wouldn't cripple my aim/hand for like a month. Any mice suggestions are appreciated, I don't care who made the mouse, my keyboard is from Redragon and it works just fine.

Its not like the G602 at all, but ive been using the G203 since my G100S died and its been very nice. Think I got it for like 20$ too.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/logitech-g203-prodigy-usb-optical-gaming-mouse-white/5799702.p?skuId=5799702

the white version only is on sale for 25 usd

it was like 15 last week but it seems that deal has ended.

i got mine on friday and while i still prefer my zowie za 12 shape the mouse is definitely really good, especially at this price when most other mice at this quality or better near 50-70 usd.

Mouse Nerd here.

If you're looking for anything similar in shape they're all in the 40-50$ range. Most of the suggestions are good in terms of budget but you'll most likely find them incredibly uncomfortable and will take some time to get used to due to ergonomics and weight.

Seeing as you don't want that to happen really here are my suggestions as when it comes to mice the most important thing in my opinion for FPS games are shape and weight.

For another 10$ you can grab the G402 @ 40 USD with Amazon Prime does use a slightly older sensor, AM010, but most are fine with it as it was the same sensor in the G100s, similar weight and shape.
If you get another $20 you're in range of the:

  • G403 Wired @ 46.99 USD with Amazon Prime HOWEVER it does weigh a lot less than the G602 and the shape is a bit different but is ergonomic.
  • G502 @ 45.99 with Amazon Prime closest to the G602 in terms of ergonomics and weight, probably top option.
  • Both of which use top of the line Logitech Exclusive PMW3366 Optical Sensor

edit: If you don't have prime, you can sign up for a month for free if you haven't already. You can also make a new email and still get prime for a month for free.

mentioned above, i have the G502 and got mine for around $40, which i find to be "cheap" for a mouse (i know there are $20 mice out there but you get what you pay for imo, and im using the g502 after a g9x which was ~$80, and a death adder prior to that for about $70)

i like the mouse a lot, especially since i loved the g9x

probably not a great idea to get a g100s or g203 if you are used to a big mouse but they are the most solid budget mice out there

try the revel

might be able to find a good deal on a coolermaster mm530 also which is basically a bigger ec2

Should probably avoid the G100s if you use a low sensitivity. Trying to rocket jump on soldier while using a 16in/360 with the G100s usually resulted in me hitting the max tracking speed of the mouse and it spazzing out or just stop sending input.
