I played my first ESEA game yesterday and usually I'm always above 280 fps and maybe 200 on mid fights. Last night I played product with fps that would fluctuate from 100 to 36 during fights. Does the client negate my vpk fps config? I restarted my game for the other half and I went to 150-60 fps which was bearable. Anyone has tips ? It makes it hard and frustrating to play

Did you play any Valve MM before ESEA? Valve MM disables fps configs until a game restart.

i haven't tested this but mastercom told me in this thread to get rid of a few launch options (assuming ur using mastercoms' reccomended launch options)

It runs really fine for me with dx8 it's just when I run the ESEA client that this happens

Hi, I think it's an issue with the ESEA client affecting FPS. Not sure if there is a way around it. Maayybe you can try to see if dx9 has less drops but I don't think it's an issue with dx8 (though it's worth a shot)!
