after the most recent windows update, my fps is almost halved and it takes considerably longer times to tab in and out of tf2. is this happening to anyone else, and does anyone know a fix?

after the most recent windows update, my fps is almost halved and it takes considerably longer times to tab in and out of tf2. is this happening to anyone else, and does anyone know a fix?
for the tabbing thing go to settings>system>focus assist, and disable everything there

fps is still bad but alt tabbing is fixed, thank you

after big windows updates lots of things get reset
try making sure that things like your cores arent' getting parked, other small settings you might have set up over time haven't been reset, if ur on a laptop make sure your power settings are right, etc

That windows update crushed my pc and I had to reinstall windows so you are lucky :D

Focus Assist only messes with your alt tab time. For FPS, make sure that your other setting such as performance mode, refresh rate, proper res, etc. is the same as before the update.
