Yeah, huhy told me about it earlier and I kicked him. Thanks for letting me know, though. :)
frownyI'm using Arch, and for some reason the HUD is not using the right font, but instead using some generic one, any ideas?
Now that I'm also on Arch, I've come up with a semi-fix: http://rawr.am/tf2hud/ClientScheme.res
Using that ClientScheme file should make it use the right font and fix any HUD crosshairs. However, I haven't been able to get it to use the heavy weight, so health/ammo/etc. will not be bold, unfortunately.

With the latest update my net_graph is not displaying any words, just the coloured bars. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so is there a fix?

You should try looking up the net_graph values like net_graphheight, net_graphpos, net_graphtext and such.

Use & like this HUD. Decided the other day to try some of the options like Hit Crosshairs & Low ammo indicators. Hit crosshairs are working as should but not noticing anything on the Low ammo indicators?

Did you reinstall after the recent update? That generally fixes most HUD problems after Valve updates (short of something like the vaccinator or MvM).

I don't think this is related to custom HUDs.

Most likely explanation is that you've made a mistake somewhere.
https://github.com/omp/tf2hud/blob/master/scripts/HudAnimations_tf.txt#L262
Did you remove the // from lines 267-274 and and 290-292?
In any case, I won't have TF2 for some time, so I cannot verify anything.

If you don't want to mess with custom models as previously suggested, you can also do it by making a change in the menu file. Simply change xpos and ypos of TFCharacterImage to 9999.
https://github.com/omp/tf2hud/blob/master/resource/ui/MainMenuOverride.res#L186
(Lines 190 and 191.)
marqueeI seem to be having problems in Windows 8 with the fonts positioning. The ammo reserve shifts upwards and clips at the bottom of the clip, and the target/spectator ID health values shift downwards and clips. Is this just a problem with Windows 8 and the font? I'm not having issues with any other HUDs as far as I know.
To be honest, I have no idea. It's certainly a possibility. Font rendering on TF2 seems to be a major pain in the ass and I'm not sure how to deal with it; it feels like each platform has its own issues and it never works as it should.
I think I might have to find a font that's less problematic.

how would I remove the cross that goes over my health when im overhealed?
Roololhow would I remove the cross that goes over my health when im overhealed?
If you want to remove the bonus cross entirely, you can just move it off-screen by changing xpos/ypos of the highlighted element (change them to a value such as 9999): https://github.com/omp/tf2hud/blob/master/resource/ui/HudPlayerHealth.res#L59
Note that this will also remove the red cross when you are low on health. If you want to remove it only for overheal, you'll have to mess with the animations. I think you can remove (or comment out) the top two animate lines in the highlighted event: https://github.com/omp/tf2hud/blob/master/scripts/HudAnimations_tf.txt#L205

First of thanks for the great HUD!
Now to my question:
What do I have to change, so the HUD displays the total damage done, I.e. adds up the damage of the flamethrower/minigun etc.?

hud_combattext_batching 1
Put that in your autoexec.cfg or any config that you load by default (eg, your graphics config).
It's not a HUD feature, it's a cvar you execute in console and works on all HUDs.

Hit crosshairs & Low ammo indicators, stooped working for me after this latest patch.
I did a re-load of my files but if I use the edited ones ( uncomment the lines matching your crosshair under the DamagedPlayer & find the HudLowAmmoPulse and HudLowAmmoPulseStop events in scripts/HudAnimations_tf.txt and uncomment the relevant lines by removing the leading forward slashes.) the cross hairs doesn't do anything on player damage & no ammo count shows @ all
