I found a tight group of players that are interested in Quake Live duels and we have begun dueling pretty daily in our spare time. If anyone owns Quake Live or wants to download CPMA and start Dueling everyone here pretty much gathers on servers and just dishes it out on random maps. As for skill levels everyone is fairly new and/or still lacks some fundamentals. If you're good and you just feel like bullying players, they for the most part don't mind losing 40-0.

This is a good idea. The cpma discord is often not a great place to start. I def recommend finding a friend to jump into this together. Using Qtracker will provide a good way to see servers because there still are plenty.
