YrrZestyI'm pretty sure sunshine's lighthouse has something that pushes you away from the wall slightly when you jump into it, so it seems like there are ways for map makers to prevent wallbugs
It does but its complicated and nowhere near viable to do for every spot
Not to mention that it also would prevent people from doing proper jumps off many walls/surfaces.

Speaking as a mapmaker (guilty as charged), the clip in the OP is the dumbest thing I've seen in a videogame and if I had to check for that when making a map (I mean there isn't even an angled brush there so something else must be going on) there's no way any competitive maps would be made.

Moerman@spu
Its similar in this way the player uses the map in a way it wasnt intended
Its similar in this way the boost isn't as strong once the players know about the spot.
Its similar in this way you can get shot
its similar in this way you can see the enemy as soon as he sees you
if u really think the olof boost and wallbugging are similar on their impact on the game, you don't know how either play.

MoermanMoermanIf its too much of a problem, fix the maps.
I don't know if it's been mentioned here but it's an engine bug, and almost impossible to prevent or fix as a mapper.
