EC2 is a smaller EC1 (which is pretty similar to DA) not sure what the AM feels like. I might pick one up.

EC1 - Basically 3.0, DA alternative. A bit taller than the DA and 3.0.
EC2 - Shrunken EC1, it's around the same size as a IMO 1.1.
AM - Narrow ambidextrous shape, kind of like a 1.1 but more narrow. Good claw grip mouse.

For the finishes, the black mice are rubber coated while the white ones are glossy.

Hope that helps, I'm also extremely jealous as I want a white EC1.

Also with the zowie am it has no acceleration while the ec1/2 do

Edit: nvm, these are the ec1/2 evo with no mouse acceleration.

I have the Zowie AM and I just don't really like it. I use my g400 but atm it's kind of broken so I have been resorting to the zowie AM. I use the Razer Goliathus Control Edition. Any recommendations on what mousepad goes well with the AM? I have like 6 different mousepads :)

My new EC2 tracks well on the Qck Heavy. The AM uses the same sensor as the EC2.

I'm kinda impressed, they even provided replacement mouse feet in the box. razer r u even trying

I'd try an all black pad if you have it, like the puretrak stealth or goliathus speed. The control pad has a lot of holes in it which changes the distance of the sensor to the surface, not sure if it does anything but I don't like that pad very much.

The talent is probably ok as well.

PureTrak Talent goes great with it.

I have an EC2 eVo and I use a Hein Mid mousepad. I used to have a Razer Goliathus Control and never had issued with it as well. Is your mousepad clean? Sometimes stuff on the mousepad will mess with the sensor.

I've been using the EC1 for about a year now and I can confirm that it feels exactly like the IE 3.0 but with a better scroll wheel. Pick it up!

I used to think that Tigerdirect was the best place to buy computer parts (it's closer for me at least). Canada Computers has them beat so fucking hard, I must say.
