DMLTerraI'm a junior in highschool, but I'm only 15 (I skipped two grades). I'm very seriously into orchestral music (I play this thing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horn_(instrument)), and would love to do that professionally, but there's no way to make a living that way.
I also really enjoy math/science and I want to go to MIT or Georgia Tech (in-state) for a chemistry/math sort of thing. I have all A's so far in high school and when I graduate next year I'll have taken 11 or 12 AP classes (all 5's on the exams so far woop woop).
way to make us look bad.
going to ucf for computer science.

fosterWho is going where this year?
This thread is becoming more about where a bunch of sophomores and juniors would like to go to college, or where people post their grades. Considering the intentions of the thread were supposed to be about where people are actually going, it seems a bit pompous for people to talk about their grades or things like that. I don't know about others but I'm way more interested in hearing about where people are actually going to college rather than offtopic, subtle bragging about irrelevant things.

Nope, I myself am a junior in high school but I don't think that's exactly pertinent.

TurinJunior in High School, I have a 3.5 GPA but I got a 31 on my first ACT without studying so I think I'll be fine. I hope to go to OSU as it's nearby and my parents work at it.
Yo where are you in Ohio? I'm from Solon.

Salamancerasianriceguypoopsharkjokes on you now hes gonna research what it takes to be one of the few kids who make it in and make it happen for himself
I wish someone had said that to me when I was in 8th grade, you're a good guy haha. I see a lot of people down in Texas, I may end up there as well (probably going to Rice University unless a miracle happens next week when other schools' results come out).
Rice is a great school. I hardly even leave the business school though, so my impression may be limited.
I didn't know you went to Rice Sal, in fact I didn't know Rice even had a business program! Looking forward to visiting next month.

I'm at school for music right now, and it isn't easy but there's ALWAYS a way to make a living if you work hard and love what you do. especially with a great head-start like you seem to have. Don't give up!
