he broke the law and paid the consequence for his actions. i cant believe that he wasnt aware of his visa situation. he should be held to the law just like anyone else without special privilleges.

ya he’s technically been in the country illegally but considering the circumstances i think he’s being treated a little unfairly and the situation is being handled like he snuck into the country illegally through the mexican border or something

Dude is 26 and was just shy of 14 when his Visa expired. His parents broke the law he didn't (in the case of overstaying the visa). He's been in the states basically as long as he was in the UK, and while he had a rocky childhood he seems to have put an honest effort into helping kids in the Atlanta area, by honest effort here I mean he didn't just give money to kids he actually setup and participated in campaigns to improve kids lives. At this point he might as well be allowed to stay imo.

Like comanglia said, he should be allowed to stay for his efforts.
However, the US is on a severe crackdown and there's no way this could have happened. Chances are he might not get a visa / permanent residence in the US after this......
