s1mple went 73-39 and lost after dropping a 30 kill game on the last map. feels really bad for him, you can tell he wanted this major more than anything else.

I will say (and I think I literally posted this months ago so hopefully there are receipts somewhere) that I’ve always been sick of people complaining about astralis being too dominant and it being boring

You’d think more people who chose to follow a relatively slow paced, tactical FPS would appreciate the most beautiful performances ever in said game

astralis always winning definitely isnt boring for me but it is kind of disappointing. there are really good plays and strategies to watch like every round, but i wish that other teams could perform at a similar level

i mean, do you enjoy getting stomped in a pug when the teams are completely unmatched? stomps are never fun to watch. the tf2 community has personal experience with this through froyo for the last 3 years. close games will always be infinitely more entertaining than watching the best team play like gods. its cool for the first 3 matches, but after that, when you just expect one team to win, its really not worth watching
